Richie is joined by the Irish GP Dr. Marcus De Brun. Marcus famously resigned from the Irish Medical Council in protest over the Irish government’s handling of Covid-19 in nursing homes. He also said that in his opinion, the lockdown was a mistake and that he opposed the use of masks. Today Marcus explains why he’s opposed to the mandatory wearing of face masks and why he would consider his position as a GP if he was compelled to vaccinate younger people, if a covid-19 vaccine became available. Marcus also talks about his concerns that some government ministers in charge of the covid response and their medical advisers, may have a cosy relationship with the pharmaceutical lobby.
