Thus millions of lives – including those of children – were spared the diseases associated with smoking.

But the tobacco companies wanted more money so they hired the evil genius Edward Bernays to “engineer” women into smoking.

The tragedy is his maneuvers worked.

And the approach he took to public manipulation is still being used today, every day.
