Microsoft made its fortune from the operating system they licensed to IBM.

Where did they get the operating system from?

 

They stole it…

Gates knowingly purchased it from a programmer who pirated it from another programmer.

CP/M – the operating system developed by Gary Kildall – was superior to the bastardized version Gates peddled to IBM.
