There’s a lot of pearl-clutching on the part of the Establishment and on the Left about how Venezuela is “really” about oil. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has repeatedly said that the operations in Venezuela are about keeping those resources away from our adversaries.
To be clear, Leftists and the Establishment would prefer to see those proceeds continue flowing into China and Iran and they want to see South America continue to grow as a hotbed of Maoism, Hezbollah and narcoterrorism that will ultimately subsume the US, which is why they support the Biden administration’s Border Invasion of 20+ million people in 4 years.
So, who and what is this “Establishment”, that has been quietly undermining America for decades and actively trying to overthrow the nation since Trump came down the escalator?
