🚨 26 NOVEMBER – FOUR COURTS The Chief State Solicitor’s Office is getting dismantled in public and the Supreme Court already gave us the weapon. O’Hagan v Grogan [2013] 1 I.L.R.M. 394 Supreme Court said it in black and white: 1️⃣ The Chief State Solicitor is NOT a “State authority” 2️⃣ The CSSO is NOT independent 3️⃣ The CSSO is 100 % under the direct control of the Attorney General → Section 6 Ministers & Secretaries Act 1924 → They are literally the AG’s nominee, his glove puppet Section 6 says the AG (and therefore the CSSO) can only: • represent the Government • assert and protect public rights • prosecute offenders So when the CSSO defends: ❌ Gardaí who assault citizens ❌ Court staff who refuse service ❌ Prison officers who violate rights ❌ Judges or Registrars who block access to justice …they are doing the exact opposite of their statutory duty. That makes every single one of those defences ultra vires – illegal from day one. 26 November I walk into the Four Courts with this Supreme Court judgment and force them to prove the Attorney General personally authorised every case where they shielded wrongdoers instead of the people.
